Lady Ranger Gymnastics Team Place 2nd In District

Chisholm Trail hosted the District Championship meet Thursday-Friday March 23-24, 2017. The Girls' Gymnastics team finished in 2nd place, with a Team Record 213.00 points. This was the highest finish they've posted for districts in school history. As as result, the Rangers move into 15th place in the statewide rankings. 
 
Senior, Taylor Rose, posted her first ever "nine or above" score on beam on Day 1 of competition, scoring a 9.20.  Additionally, she finished in 3rd place on Beam with a total score of 17.750. 
 
Freshman, Rachel Mackey, led the team in All-Around finishing 5th place, scoring a 2 day total of 72.10 points ( a personal best).  Rachel also finished 4th on vault, 5th on Bars, 6th on Beam and 5th on Floor.
 
Junior, Angel Torres, finished tied for 3rd on Floor with a 2 day total score of 18.50.  She also posted a personal best 9.75 in Day 1 of the competition on Floor. She also placed 9th on Vault, 7th on Bars, 4th on Beam, and 7th in the All-Around
 
Junior, Kaylee Terrell, finished 4th on Vault, 7th on Beam, 10th on Floor and 6th Place in the All-Around.
 
Junior, Miranda Aguirre, finished 8th overall on Beam
