The Chisholm Trail Rangers took on the Boswell Pioneers in district 6-5A action Tuesday, January 10, 2018 at Chisholm Trail High School. The Rangers prevailed in a tightly contested matchup with a final score of, 53-49.
The game consisted of 17 lead changes as neither team was able to pull away at any point during the game. In the first quarter, both defenses started strong and Boswell led 10-8. Chisholm Trail got it going offensively in the second quarter and took a 24-22 halftime lead. The Rangers maintained their 2 point lead at 39-37 as both offenses opened up in the third quarter. The fourth quarter saw the teams go back and forth, however it was Chisholm Trial that got the key defensive stops late and timely buckets to earn the district win over the Pioneers. Chisholm Trail now moves to (14-6) overall on the season and (2-1) in district play.
