A few pitches later, Alex Potts hit a sac fly to center to drive in Gonzales. Pitcher Sierra Hanes picked up the win in the circle by throwing a complete game three hitter. Her lone run she gave up came on an inside the park homerun down the left field line. She walked one and struck out three in a dominant performance. The Lady Rangers played a solid defensive game. Outstanding plays included a diving catch in right center by Kendyl Slaboda. Mariah Gonzales threw out a runner trying to stretch a single to a double from right field and Valerie Lomenick doubled off the first Denton runner of the night on a line drive double play.
