Michelle Vryhof is beginning her first year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Chisholm Trail High School. Ms. Vryhof grew up in the central valley of California and migrated to Fort Worth in 2008 to complete her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Texas Christian University. Following graduation from the very established athletic training educational program at TCU, she became a spring intern athletic trainer at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports adjacent to Disney World in Orlando, FL. After her Disney internship, she returned to California and worked two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Stanford University while earning her master’s degree in athletic training at San Jose State University. Upon completion of her graduate education, she accepted the opportunity to be employed in a newly created position as the first Athletic Trainer-in-Residence for the National Athletic Trainers’ Association headquartered in Dallas. Her previous experience also included assisting the Ben Hogan Sports Medicine Outreach Program by providing athletic training services at various sporting events around the Metroplex. Ms. Vryhof’s professional credentials include state licensure in Texas as well as being nationally certified as a professional athletic trainer.
